Overall a good video but he seems like a gold panning drill seargent. If you are finding nuggets that big you can be pretty agressive and go lots faster than that. Still good technique for beginners.

Nice video in general. It's good the special gold liquid drops (jet dry) kept that nugget in there. And of course he didn't do a David Copperfield and drop it in the pan for effect, lol.

Two people who seem to be experienced panners point out that discovering a nugget that size without any fine gold present is suspect. Would an experienced panner elaborate?

ive got a question if you dont mind , ware i live here in georgia on my land my soil is rich with iron , calsuim , and lime . down at the creek you can put a magnet to the sand and it gets covered in iron dust . we cant even drink the well water . my question is this do these materials show promise or any hope of finding any gold .
