Thanks for the 'heads up' mate, for some reason the default setting was 'off' for Ipods and mobiles, changed the setting and should now be watchable. HH mate.

@SuperSnoopy36
Thanks for taking the time to watch mate, love to go out on a hunt next time we're in Townsville, better leave something down there for me to find though! LOL. The net can be slow here too, we are the dead-set end of the line, or it seems like that sometimes. HH mate and keep the great videos coming.

@garbageguru1
Thanks for watching GG1, and the compliments too, the history of the sites is a big deal to me, makes the finds a lot more meaningful, I reckon. HH mate and best of luck on your next trip out.

@Wavesu6410
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, I feel the same when I watch a video from a beautiful Florida beach, great way to travel around the world. LOL. HH mate and keep the good finds coming.

@Docdaugh
Hey doc, better go with Snoopy if he can get you a new Akubra, mine mighn't get a customs clearance in the US due to appearance/offensive odours LOL. HH mate.

wesleytarbuck @ 4:13 am #

just bought a bounty hunter sharp shooter II today on ebay, what do you think of that detector for a beginner?

GrizzlyGroundswell @ 7:43 am #

@NQExplorers You better draw a treasure map with all their locations and send it to me for safe keeping! LOL!

Docdaugh @ 1:15 pm #

Ha! Ha! It only gives it MORE character! Keep up the good work. It's fun to have friends in low places!!(Down under)

magpie307 @ 1:16 pm #

Would love to hunt on a gold mining area, there are a few locally but but all are protected and no go areas, enjoyed your video and some nice button finds on the way, Ive yet to find a silver threepence piece. thanks for sharing and HH mate.

Docdaugh @ 1:19 pm #

I have a leather jacket that I've had for years that is so worn, much like your hat, it can stand up in the corner of the room ALL BY ITSELF!

@wesleytarbuck
Sounds great mate, have not used the Bounty Hunter myself but plenty of blokes swear by them. Get to know your machine, I mean spend lots of hours together, and while your waiting for it to arrive build a 'test plot' in the back yard, bury a few things at various depths and listen to what the Sharp Shooter tells you when you swing over them. Get out there and do lots of hunting, you'll love it. HH mate.

@magpie307
Thanks for watching Magpie, pity about the gold areas over there, love to see some English gold being unearthed! I guess we are lucky in that we litterally have thousands of square miles of gold-bearing country to investigate. Look forward to your next trip out and all the best HH.

wesleytarbuck @ 6:02 pm #

@NQExplorers thanks for the encouraging words, i really think this is going to be for me :) but tell me, are you more excited when you find gold or silver? and yes i do realise gold is a lot more expensive. I think the money is going to be in silver in the long run myself, from what im hearing.

robsue @ 11:39 pm #

Once again, a great video NQ. I like the commentary and tips.
I especially like the way you can find an old rusty object and make it talk – make it tell us it's story; how it got there, who was using it, the tall tales it overheard.

Well done.

@robsue
Thanks for the positive comments RobSue, lots of times all we find is rusty objects, so we have to make them talk LOL. Happy Hunting and best of luck.

Another great video – looking forward to the next and your return to the gold fields. Good geology tip about checking out gullies to see what the rock is doing.
Great song at the intro also. K

OLDGOLD1100 @ 1:17 pm #

That was so interesting, I watched it twice. Loved the finds, looking forward to seeing what else comes out of that area.

NQExplorers @ 8:49 pm #

@Janhyooz
Thanks Ian, yep we really love those Victorian coins, and they are what we predominantly get on the goldfields up here. Best thing about making a video is that you can relive the moment yourself when you get home LOL. Thanks for watching mate, really enjoying your current series. HH.

NQExplorers @ 8:50 pm #

@OLDGOLD1100
Thanks for taking the time to watch the video John, unfortunately for all you viewers YouTube has allowed me to go past 15 minutes LOL. HH mate and best of luck.
