Just bought a White's GMT yesterday. First detector ever. Though it's specifically designed for nugget shooting, I took it out to the park next to my appartments for a little practice. LOTS of aluminum bits from juice boxes, etc. But I did find 2 dimes and a penny for a total take of 21 cents. Not bad for a 10-minute test run. Now I'm off for the high AZ desert!

If its a meteorite…. its 4 billiob years old, the oldest object you can find !! Well done, very jealous.

Hi I found a gold posy ring circa 16/17th century that was all rusted on the outside! I thought it was crap till I polished it and the gold started showing, I was very shocked. Turned out to be worth around £800 so scrape that iron stone it might be gold. My ring was made from un-purified gold from a deposit where the gold was present in the iron ore in the USA!
